NYC Parks Chair Ty Hankerson & CEO Crew Host Live Central Queens Tree Care Demo

On Tuesday, August 18th, the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) joined New York City Council Member Ty Hankerson, Chair of the Committee on Parks and Recreation, to celebrate the achievements of CEO’s seasonal transitional work crew. Working in partnership with the NYC Parks Tree Time Initiative, this dedicated crew has spent the summer maintaining and watering newly planted trees across Central Queens. Having already delivered 5,000 gallons of critical hydration, the crew is on track to surpass 10,000 gallons by the end of the season.
