David is a Senior Managing Director and serves as strategic advisor to Julie Sweet, Accenture’s Chair and CEO, on strategic social equity and impact hiring initiatives.  David served on Accenture’s North American leadership team working closely with the North America CEO on the design and implementation of a new global growth model.  Previously, David served for five years as Chief Executive of Accenture Federal Services. He was responsible for every aspect of Accenture’s federal business and led the successful repositioning of the business in the federal marketplace.  David is deeply passionate about public service, having spent most of the last 30 years working exclusively in the health public service arena. Previously, David served as the Growth & Strategy lead for our global Health & Public Service business and led Accenture’s U.S. state and local government practice.  He held client leadership roles at the City of New York and Columbia University. Before joining Accenture in 1994, David worked for the City of New York, including serving as a Deputy Commissioner of a 3,000-person division responsible for managing New York City’s government infrastructure.  David serves on the Boards of the Center for Employment Opportunities and CareerWise USA.
