Brandon Belford

Mr. Brandon Belford is the Chief of Staff for Tapestry, Google’s moonshot project for the electric grid. He previously held leadership roles for a Blackstone portfolio company (Applegreen Electric), Lyft, and Apple, while also serving in the Obama Administration at the National Economic Council in the White House, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and the U.S. Department of Energy. Brandon began his career in investment banking and project finance at Bank of America and a growth-stage solar energy developer (SunEdison).

Brandon is also a co-founder of a private fund with ownership stakes in several European football teams and National Board member for Playworks. He holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
